We commissioned an artisan to craft these amazing products and relied on West Coast users to vet, test, and vote on the scents. The shave soap performs like a champ. It loads quickly and produces a rich, thick protective lather. The formulation is vegan based and includes moisturizing elements like shea butter and avocado oil. A little bit of soap goes a long way with these soaps. Don't be scared to use more water than normal, the soap is thirsty and requires a good amount of liquid to build up the lather.
The aftershave-colognes are left to cure for over four weeks each. The hybrid formulation takes the best of aftershaves and colognes and puts it together. The formulation has aloe and alum that act as skin nourishing elements like an aftershave and the scent staying power of a cologne so that you can enjoy it all day.
The West Coast has its epic beaches and sprawling cities, but it also has big trees like really big trees. So we wanted to create a scent that captures camping under those expansive branches. #14 Sequoia was born. Woody & earthy notes of cypress and coumarin combine with a spicy pepper note and a hint of smoke. Notes of cypress, black pepper, coumarin, rosemary, and bergamot.
