As the potato famine of the 1840s scattered Irish immigrants across the US, a few settled in the hill country of central Texas near the Alamo in a neighborhood soon known as Irish Flats. San Antonio still holds a few of the original houses. So, when Central Texas decided to recreate a scent that represents that Emerald Isle, they chose the name Irish Flats. This Irish Tweed recreation is a spicy-sweet blend. Notes of verbena and lemon combine with iris and violet leaves. Then base notes of sandalwood and ambergris round out this sublime aroma.
