Description:
Declaration Grooming is the sweat and toil of Scott Stewart. Formerly L&L Grooming and Declaration Brushworks, the new moniker doesn't change the years of hard work and dedication this artisan has put into developing his business. From recipe formulation, web design, product crafting, marketing, and the myriad other tasks, he takes his job seriously. From his homebase in Michigan, this artisan is turning out amazing grooming products. And for this soap, he teamed up with Chatillon Lux, an artisan creating grooming products out of St. Louis, MO. Together, they have created this seasonal soap.
This premium shaving soap (or croap, very soft soap) is loaded with amazing, hydrating, protective ingredients. It has a bison tallow base and lanolin for slickness and glide. Then butters, oils, and bentonite clay whip up the perfect, moisturizing lather that leaves a note-worthy post shave feel.
Located on the corner of Fourth & Pine in the early days of St. Louis history was a premier bathhouse & men's grooming salon known as Clamorgan's. It was one of the first places to carry Johann Farina's world renown Eau de Cologne. While this scent doesn't replicate the master's work, it does play on the refreshing, citrus theme of the original. Notes of neroli, lemon, bergamot, lavender, orange, petitgrain, grapefruit, & yuzu combine in a fragrance that would have been good enough for Ulysses S. Grant (patron of Clamorgan's).
Size: 4oz.
