Declaration Grooming is the sweat and toil of Scott Stewart. Formerly L&L Grooming and Declaration Brushworks, the new moniker doesn't change the years of hard work and dedication this artisan has put into developing his business. From recipe formulation, web design, product crafting, marketing, and the myriad other tasks, he takes his job seriously. From his homebase in Michigan, this artisan is turning out amazing grooming products.
Declaration Grooming has reimaged their already premium soap into a new base. Project Icarus is a new formula with their already lauded bison tallow, but note with goat's milk (loaded with vitamin's, minerals, fatty acids, amino acids, and more) and lamb tallow (not replacing bison tallow but enhancing the vitamins and selenium) and colloidal oatmeal (finest grind of emollient, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties), and tussah silk (texture enhancer for a silky lather), and more. This is going to be epic! (But do let it air out when you get it; that is a lot of animal product.)
What started as an attempt to create a Declaration Grooming chypre morphed and evolved into a scent that basically has something for everyone. Initially they hoped to hit the warm, spicy tea aroma but it grew into a mossy, spicy, slightly sweet, woodsy fragrance that hits all the favorite notes. Oakmoss and treemoss blend with cardamom and galbanum. Then a slight sweetness from yuzu layers with the woody notes for an aroma that can please many noses.
