Meissner Tremonia is a German artisan soap making company out of Dortmund. The founder became interested in "Old Baders" (the German name given to medieval barber-surgeons) while researching an historical novel. Thomas Meissner became fascinated with the idea that these old professionals would make their own soap. After research and testing, Meissner Tremonia was launched in 2014. This traditional aftershave splash is alcohol-based, but the alcohol is pure wine-distilled instead of chemically denatured. Fewer chemicals means better for your skin. Then witch hazel and eucalyptus are used to soothe the skin after your shave. And just a hint of cooling menthol finishes it off. Simple but powerful ingredients to leave you with an exceptional post-shave feel. Packaged in a glass bottle.
This Dark Limes aroma is unique (as are all of the Meissner Tremonia fragrances -- you don't always get what you expect!). Inspired by old soap recipes from West Africa, this aroma is sensual, black, dark. Fresh lime juice is used but it the grassy-bitter scent, not the bright fresh one you might be used to. Then herb-fresh notes of petitgrain and litsea cubeba are used.
