Will Carius launched Barrister and Mann in 2013 out of his tiny apartment in Boston, MA. Inspired to try traditional shaving because of his extremely sensitive skin, he soon found a following for his wonderful soaps and fantastic fragrances. And now he has upped his game yet again with a reformulated Glissant base that lathers even better (is it possible?). And, of course, new scents to keep you coming back for more. Their splashes are crafted with witch hazel and soothing botanicals to bring you a post-shave delight. Although alcohol-based, these grooming products are enhanced with skincare goodies to prevent drying. And they are home to the best B&M fragrances. The vintage amber bottles with paper labels are reminiscent of an apothecary from a by-gone age.
The scent of this limited edition aroma is inspired by Douglas Adam's, comedy sci-fi novel, "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Sometimes you have the questions and sometimes you have the answers, but in this novel they don't always come together. After 7.5 million years the super computer, Deep Thought, gives the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything as 42. The problem is no one knows the question.
