Like many in the wet shaving world, Vida was inspired to try her hand at soap-making because of persistent skin issues that were only exacerbated by commercial soaps and moisturizers. This scent was inspired by Kenneth Cole's Mankind. Vida's take (called Humanitas) replicates the spicy top notes of cardamom, tarragon, ginger, and pineapple. Then heart notes of cedarwood, vetiver, and cinnamon give it a warm, woody aroma. It is all laid on a base of sandalwood, oakmoss, tonka bean, and musk. This complex scent is for the renaissance man - successful, but humble, strong, but sensitive.
