Like many in the wet shaving world, Vida was inspired to try her hand at soap-making because of persistent skin issues that were only exacerbated by commercial soaps and moisturizers. With this set you get the matching shaving soap and aftershave splash.
Irving Park is a neighborhood in Chicago and the name of this scent. This fragrance is a Oleo Soapworks take on YSL Rive Gauche. Notes of Bergamot, star anise, rosemary, lavender, geranium leaves, cloves, vetiver, gaiac wood, and patchouli for a complex, cologne-like aroma.
- Aftershave splash: This simple, traditional splash (and the matching shave soap) is a delightful addition to your shaving den. Just alcohol, water, fragrance, emulsifier, and menthol. Get your alcohol burn and your menthol cool for the perfect post-shave finish.
- Shaving Soap: The Canard base shaving soap is a duck fat grooming requisite. And boy, does it deliver. Loaded with skin nourishing kokum butter, palm oil, castor oil, jojoba oil (hence the name Oleo - oil), this soap is slick and protective. The duck fat too gives it a dense, rich lather. It is a thirsty soap, so don't be afraid of a little water. This hot process soap is poured into a low profile, wide mouth container for easy brush loading.
