Oleo Soapworks is the craft of Vida Perez-Valazquez and West Coast Shaving is excited to be carrying her line of grooming products. Like many in the wet shaving world, Vida was inspired to try her hand at soap-making because of persistent skin issues that were only exacerbated by commercial soaps and moisturizers. With this set you get the matching shaving soap and aftershave splash.
Like splashing on a bit of summer, this scent is an homage to the taste of long, hot days and equally sweltering nights when the cooling of citrus and melon is just what you need to cut the heat. Notes of juicy watermelon and tangy lemon will enhance your shave. (Just don't eat it!).
- Aftershave splash: This simple, traditional splash (and the matching shave soap) is a delightful addition to your shaving den. Just alcohol, water, fragrance, emulsifier, and menthol. Get your alcohol burn and your menthol cool for the perfect post-shave finish.
- Shaving Soap: The Canard base shaving soap is a duck fat grooming requisite. And boy, does it deliver. Loaded with skin nourishing kokum butter, palm oil, castor oil, jojoba oil (hence the name Oleo - oil), this soap is slick and protective. The duck fat too gives it a dense, rich lather. It is a thirsty soap, so don't be afraid of a little water. This hot process soap is poured into a low profile, wide mouth container for easy brush loading.
